Participation in the Children’s Fancy Dress Competition of the “Filloíña” Festival is now open

The “Filloíña” Festival returns this year with another Children’s Fancy Dress Competition, which will be held on February 10 at 7:15 p.m. The competition will distribute up to €500 in prizes and is open to boys and girls up to 16 years old (born in 2008 and later).

The Cultural Association of the Lestedo “Filloa” encourages the population -locals and visitors alikee- to participate in this activity that was well received last year. “In addition, they will be able to enjoy a full day full of cultural and leisure initiatives for the little ones,” the organization indicates.

The Children’s Costume Fancy Dress Competition establishes two categories: group and individual. Participants must register on www.festadafilloadelestedo.gal before February 9. On this website, you can consult the competition’s rules for participating.

The panel of judges, which will be appointed by the organization of the contest, will assess, among other aspects, the work in making the costume; the creativity and originality of the proposal, or the mise-en-scène, fun content, and transmutation. For each of the categories, a first and second prize are established. In the case of the group category, they will be valued at €200 and €150, respectively, and in the case of the individual, they will be €100 and €50.
